Janos Balint

Nato nel 1961 in Ungheria. Laureato presso la Franz Liszt Academy di Music a Budapest nel 1984. Ha proseguito gli studi post-laurea con András Adorján. Ha vinto numerosi premi in concorsi internazionali (Ancona, Lipsia, Markneukirchen). Flautista solista dell’Orchestra Sinfonica della Radio Ungherese dal 1981 al 1991 e presso l’ungherese Orchestra Filarmonica Nazionale dal 2000 al 2006. Attualmente é Professore presso la Musikhochschule di Detmold, in Germania, alla Franz Liszt Music Academy di Budapest, in Ungheria e supervisore presso l’Accademia di Musica di Kragujevac, Serbia. E´ fondatore e direttore del Doppler Music Institute a Budapest. Come solista si é esibito in quasi tutti i paesi europei ed anche negli Stati Uniti, Giappone, Taiwan, Corea e Israele. Ha registrato 24 CD-s con Hungaroton, Capriccio e Naxos. Ogni anno, conduce 10-12 master classes in tutto il mondo. Nel 2008 ha ricevuto il massimo riconoscimento ungherese per la performance musicale, il premio Franz Liszt dal Ministero della Cultura e Istruzione dell´ Ungheria.

János Bálint, geboren 1961 in Ungarn, bekam 1984 sein Diplom an der Franz Liszt Akademie in Budapest (Ungarn). Anschließend vervollständigte er sein Studium bei Andras Adorjan. Er ist zahlreicher Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe (Ancona, Leipzig, Markneukirchen). Von 1981 bis 1991 war er Soloflötist im Radio Symphonie Orchester Ungarn und von 2000 bis 2006 im Philharmonisches Orchester Ungarn. Zur Zeit ist er Professor an der Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Deutschland), an der Franz Liszt Akademie in Budapest und Supervisor an der Musikakademie Kragujevac (Serbien). János Bálint ist außerdem Gründer und Leiter des Doppler Musik Instituts in Budapest. Als Solist hat er Auftritte in Europa, in den USA, Japan, Taiwan, Korea und Israel. Er hat bei den Labels Hungaroton, Capriccio und Naxos insgesamt 24 CDs aufgenommen. Jedes Jahr führt er 10-12 Meisterkurse weltweit. 2008 hat János Bálint den Franz Liszt Preis vom Ungarischen Ministerium für Kultur und Bildung, es gilt als die höchste Anerkennung für Musikalische Performance in Ungarn.

János Bálint was born in 1961 in Hungary. In the year 1984 he got his Master at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. After this he completed his musical development with Andras Adorjan. He got many prizes in several International Competitions (Ancona, Leipzig, Markneukirchen). Solo Flute of the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra between 1981 and 1991 and of the Hungary Philharmonic Orchestra between 2000 and 2006. At the moment he is Professor at the University of Music Detmold, Germany, at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music of Budapest, Hungary, and Supervisor of the Kragujevac Academy of Music, Serbia. Founder and Director of the Doppler Institut of Music in Budapest. As soloist he gave concerts in Europe, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Korea und Israel. He recorded 24 CDs with Hungaroton, Capriccio and Naxos. Every year János Bálint gives 10-12 masterclasses worldwide. In the year 2008 he got the Franz Liszt Price of the Hungarian Ministery of Culture and Instruction, the highest award for the Music Performance in Hungary.
